After seeing a video of how to make an Easter bunny from plasticine, I decided to attempt this myself as I have not used plasticine since I was a child.  In the image on the left, I created the rabbit from plasticine.  I decided to create another bunny from Fimo clay.

Figures for Penguin Book Cover Design

For the Student Penguin Award book cover, I decided I wanted to incorporate my love of model making into my design.

I used Fimo ovenbake clay to sculpture the characters and acrylic paint to give colour and life to them.

Although I wanted to make them free standing, I decided to give them a slightly different position.

I got the idea for Sid and Ron when I was on holiday down in Cornwall and there were a lot of hungry Seagulls, although I never saw a shark down there but I have always had a fascination with Sharks.

Using these two animals I wanted to create something fun.

Drug Deal Gone Wrong

The theme for this brief was 'Murder'.   I decided to create a miniature murder scene using polymer clay.  The scene is based on a drug deal, which takes unfortunate turn

Medium used was polymer clay, acrylic paint and glass jars.

For this project, we were required to create an 'Identity Box'. This could be based either on ourselves or on another person.

My box focused on life as a single parent and how much of an up hill struggle it can be, being both mum and dad, dealing with the running of a home and taking care of your children - leading them on the right path.

Medium used was pine wood, Fimo clay, newspaper and acrylic paint.
